We are currently recruiting for a Head of Credit Management to join a dynamic and fast-paced business based in North-Essex on an initial 6-month fixed term contract.
This is a high profile role within this thriving business as you will be responsible for the Credit Control deliverables and report directly in to the divisional Director. As part of the position you will also be sitting as a member of the senior management team and have an active approach in supporting the delivery of the target operating models.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Responsible for ensuring a high standard of service delivery in line with agreed timelines as defined in the Service Management Framework Agreement
- Managing and overseeing general operations for the department
- Motivating the department to achieve targets and strategy goals
- Communicate key strategy messages and performance metrics
- Ensure the department complies with its overall delivery and quality performance metrics
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners
- Engage with the business partners for broader strategic planning
- Take an active role in key projects, initiatives, acquisitions or disposals that impact your department
- Manage annual budget and forecast related to your department
Key skills:
- Recognised professional qualification (e.g. CICM)
- Knowledge of working in a global business environment with a sound understanding of global processes and transactional flows
- Excellent, proactive communication skills
- A continuous improvement mind-set with focus on the betterment of both your department and global support
