Assistant Management Accountant

Hays Accountancy and Finance are pleased to partner with this major NHS Trust in order to present an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant based in Cambridge to begin working in early November for a three month contract.

Your new role

The role will sit within a finance team of seven, and report into the Finance Analyst, working in a busy environment for one of the largest and busiest hospitals in the country with a leading academic centre. Key duties and responsibilities included in the role will involve but not be limited to: costing new R&D grant applications and maintaining records, raising invoices, preparation of monthly accounts and annual reports and to provide input to the costing, pricing and financial planning activity of the Trust.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in this role you must be a motivated and driven individual who is actively interested in pursuing the development of your career, possess relevant experience, be competent on Excel and preferably Oracle, have high levels of attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal levels of supervision.
