Semi Senior Accountant

Macildowie Finance are recruiting for a Junior/Semi-Senior Accountant for a well-known run Accountancy firm based in Nottingham. The role is offering study support for the right candidate and is an opportunity to work with Sole Trader up to Small Limited Company Accounts.

The role is paying £18-25k. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be studying a formal accounting discipline (AAT /ACCA preferred). Experience with Digita and CCH accounting software is desirable but not essential.

Duties Include:
- Accounts preparation for a Nottinghamshire based clientele
- Bookkeeping and assistance with Management Accounts
- Preparation of Financial statements for small businesses
- Liaison with client managers
- VAT returns
- Corporation and personal tax assistance
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

2-3 years experience within a practice environment preferred.
