Working for a dynamic and growing company based in Shrewsbury who a recruiting for a Qualified Accountant to join their finance team to support rapid growth. Working with both the Finance Director and CEO as well as other team members this job focuses on the ability to analyse financial data, produce accurate and timely reports and help operational performance and growth.

Your new role
Based in a small finance team in Shrewsbury your job will focus on cash management, forecasts and variance analysis. You will monitor financial performance producing monthly management accounts and KPIs as wells as controlling transaction processing, maintain supplier payments and maintaining inventory records. You will play an active role in budget preparation and draft statutory accounts for audit and tax filings.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a fully qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA with experience of management and financial accounting. You should have good working knowledge of current UK GAAP and strong analytical and problem solving skills. Good excel and IT skills are needed as the business as recently undergone a system implementation and your will be required to support its continued development as well as manage and mentor 1 direct report within the finance team.
