Senior Internal Auditor, Oxford, ACA, ACCA or equivalent 50% International travel.

Your new company

A well known global business based in Oxford role requires travel overseas around 50% of the time.

Your new role

  • Conducting assignments to a high standard and within targeted deadlines and budgets, producing clear and concise audit reports, with constructive recommendations for improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Follow up on progress being made on all recommendations made in audit reports..
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders through the delivery of first-class audit work.
  • Deputise for the Group Internal Audit Manager as required, including potentially dealing with staff management and liaison with senior management.
  • Conduct special investigations into cases of alleged fraud and/or serious negligence, providing advice to management on corrective action in accordance with the organisation's policies.
  • Provide independent advice on controls design and risk management through audit assignments.



What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified Accountant/Auditor with experience gained in Internal Audit with complex multinational businesses and be happy travelling approx 50% of the time on a global basis.
You will also need

  • A solid understanding of internal control structures and risk management frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact at all levels including senior management.
  • Excellent report writing skills underpinned by the ability to clearly and succinctly draft audit points and recommendations to produce impactful reports.
  • High attention to detail whilst being able to see the "big picture".
  • High computer literacy in popular packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Any fluency in European languages would be advantageous
