Management Accountant

We have been appointed by a dynamic and ambitious company based in Leeds to recruit a Management Accountant. The organisation are expanding rapidly, with the introduction of 2 new areas of the business which have experienced exceptional growth and have ambition to develop and diversify further.

This newly created position offers an exceptional opportunity for a newly qualified or finalist Accountant who is looking to take control of their business unit’s accounts, whilst moulding the role around themselves. You will work across multiple functions, gaining experience in a business partnering capacity and there is good scope for career progression as the business grows further.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts including KPI’s and detailed commentary for a number of business units
• Producing annual accounts and annual returns
• Production of yearly budgets for several business units including P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flow
• VAT and PAYE returns
• Preparation of year end audit files

To be successful in this role, you must be a finalist/newly qualified Accountant with the drive to develop and gain valuable exposure. You must have recent and relevant experience to the role and the ability to manage your time and role autonomously.
