A market leading SME in the Southampton area are looking for a Trainee Accountant to join their team in this newly created role.
Reporting to the Management Accountant, duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Taking ownership of the Sales Ledger process
- Bank reconciliations
- Updating the cash-flow forecast
- Assisting with the monthly management accounts, including preparation of month end journals
- Deputising for Purchase Ledger when needed
- Assisting with monthly and weekly payroll
