A leading retail business, based in Central London, is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to focus on oversight for all financial and regulatory reporting. This role is due to be 6 months in length but if a strong candidate is found there is potential for this to develop into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
- Cash flow management, forecast and balance sheet reporting
- Drive process and systems improvement across the finance department alongside the financial controller.
- Set up and update monthly P&L reports for discussion with the Financial Controller.
- Help manage a team of accountants to help achieve the expected responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant with strong post qualification commercial experience
- Ability to hit pre-agreed deadlines through strong time management
- Be able to work independently as well as part of the team
- Time management and ability to prioritise work load effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
