To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to:
- Be educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Be very commercial astute in addition to technically competent.
- Have strong leadership capability with experience managing small teams.
- Be extremely proactive and self-motivated in the way that you approach your work.
A little more information about the role:
- You will work with other business units on projects that will affect the Commercial Finance function, which may include the implementation of new systems and processes.
- You will have the responsibility of producing financial and other reports to be presented to stakeholders.
- You will prepare financial analysis on a large volume of date which you will then have to pick out key and relevant financial information to present to stakeholders.
- You will work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders with the aim of improving the overall customer experience.
- You will effectively manage the commercial finance team ensuring that they can perform tasks unassisted as well as supporting their long-term career aspirations in becoming high performing professionals.
- You will provide unrivalled financial support to non-finance managers regarding complex contracts and tenders for large customers, ensuring that they are financially accurate and robust.
