Finance Systems Manager

Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for a Finance Systems Manager. Our Bristol based client is a medium sized (£70m T) Estate Management organisation, responsible for managing net assets in excess of £1billion, that are transitioning from external IT provider to a full in-house function. Resultant of this who have a newly created post for a Finance Systems Manager to join the team on a permanent basis and lead on the implementation of a new financial system and set up of the Finance Systems function.

Reporting into the Financial Controller and as a manager within the Finance team this role has responsibility for maintaining and administering the organisation finance systems and interfaces, delivering a high quality and modern system support service. Specific responsibilities include:

*Maintaining the core Finance System (efinancials) and financial management information system (Collaborative Planning). Including: System security, managing ledgers including month and year end rollovers, maintain the chart of accounts, ensuring data integrity, bulk data processing etc.
*Maintenance and administration of other systems and interfaces - processing data files from external sources e. payroll and maintain timber income system and fleet management system.
*Data Analysis and manipulation
*System development and improvement and working with system suppliers to resolve technical system issues
*Working with internal and external and provision of bulk data for audit testing

In applying for this role you must have advanced knowledge of Finance Systems in particular Oracle based systems. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of finance accounting principles and how systems integrate into organisations - this will have come from working in similar role within Finance previously. You will be confident in your approach and able to establish relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
