Internal Audit Manager

SF Group are currently recruiting for an Internal Audit Manager to join a fantastic business based in Birmingham City Centre. This company has excellent routes for progression and are well known in their industry. Main duties will include:

• Planning and ownership of multiple ongoing audit projects
• Design and input into the audit strategy of the business
• Management of a team of 4 auditors
• Build relationships with departmental partners and senior management to keep up to date with business operations
• The command of a range of audit areas including risk assessment and identification of effective controls
• Perform audit stress tests and analyses, gather audit evidence and evaluate the results to improve compliance and controls within the business
• Consistently strive to improve company wide compliance and control
• Discuss the results of audits with Company management
• Supports department leadership in responding to management queries regarding the internal control environment

This role would suit an ACA, ACCA or CIA qualified candidate with a strong background in audit and compliance. Candidates will need to hold strong communication skills and have the ability to work in multiple locations although the majority of this work will be in Birmingham and the role is fully UK based.
