International IT Auditor

My client is a multinational business with its head office in Soho, where the EMEA internal audit function is based. Reporting to the Director of Audit and working in a team of internal auditors, you will take the lead on IT audit matters and carry out internal audit reviews as directed by the internal audit programme within budget. This will include assisting in the execution of the detailed plan, meeting pre-determined deadlines, reaching informed conclusions on the effectiveness of various control environments,using influencing skills to agree issues identified with management, drafting assigned sections of the Risk and Control Report, including identifying associated risks and proposing recommendations to address the issues highlighted by the audit, and liaising as necessary with the co-sourced provider in the role will be 30-40% across EMEA.
The successful candidate will be CISA qualified, ideally with Big 4 experience, although you may also have worked as an inhouse IT auditor in a commercial environment. You should be able to communicate with all levels of management within the organisation, and demonstrate a sound understanding and experience of IT general controls and application reviews. The ability to speak a 2nd European language would be advantageous. Please note that you must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
