This newly created Finance Analyst - Revenue position will provide revenue information used to properly measure the performance of the business and to aid in the development of the overall strategy, also assisting with revenue recognition of Contracts. The role reports to the Senior Analyst – Revenue and will require someone who is confident to partner Senior stakeholders in the business.
The role is based in Slough, 15 minutes train from Paddington London station and easily commutable by car.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial and business-related analysis across various areas of the business
- Participate in the actual, forecast and budget process
- Assist in the accurate reporting of results, business opportunities, risks and issues
- Responsible for running and maintaining the Revenue Database for actual and future revenue
- Financial Modelling from data
- Work with Senior Analyst Revenue to ensure all reporting requirements are timely and effectively met
- Collaborate with other stakeholders such as Accounting team and Project Management to obtain solid data and prepare analyses
- Assists in interpreting of past financial and operational performance to improve future performance
- Prepares other analyses as required.
Required Qualifications:
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification essential
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent field preferred
- Career demonstrating progression, continuity and development of broad finance skills
- Experience working in a dynamic, multi-business unit, multinational environment
- Experience in Technology, Fintech or a Software Services Business will be an advantage
- Advanced Excel modelling
- Good systems knowledge ideally SAP (BPC)
- Confident and personable with senior stakeholder management experience
- Excellent Self-Management skills
