Financial Accountant

This leading Media & Publishing brand is currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team in central London. If you are newly qualified (ACA equivalent) and looking for your first role in industry this is the ideal platform to leverage skills learnt from practice. With clearly defined pathways for progression there is scope to take ownership and gain broad exposure across an all encompassing role.

Reporting to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include:

• Monthly and quarterly reporting and the month end process
• Preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations as well as department overhead budgeting and monthly reforecast
• Provide financial and commercial stock analysis and provide support to stock controllers
• Partner with marketing teams and editorial heads to support and monitor budgets

The successful candidate will posses strong attention to detail and the ability to plan, prioritise and achieve targets with accuracy and efficiency.
