Finance Manager

ABPM as experts in financial recruitment, have been retained by a leading niche manufacturer and supplier of specialised industrial products, to recruit a Finance Manager. The business has a history of success supporting market leading groups in delivering solutions and providing exceptional customer service.

As part of the succession planning this newly created role creates the need for a business aware qualified (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) accountant. We seek applicants from those that have previously managed a small finance team to produce prompt relevant and accurate financial reports and accounts. But of greater interest is the desire for you to support the MD and owners in the running of the business.

Take it as a read that first and foremost you will be the finance leader you will also undertake regular compliance checks to meet company and legislation standards and ensure a no surprises financial stewardship for the company, but along with supporting and learning from the Managing Director, the role is an excellent career developmental role.

To oversight your duties you will be:

• Producing monthly reports and accounts to meet deadlines for review by the MD and owner.

• Manage a small capable finance team and assist in team members in their development and performance.

• Ensure compliance with all financial activities to meet company and legislation requirements.

• Suggest new ways for the business to develop further into new markets and how to introduce new products with supporting financial analyses.
• Assist managing the control and stock for the business.
• Effectively communicate with other management
• Assume total accountabilities; personnel, materials, facilities and finance
