My client, a leading Financial Services company who offer excellent opportunity for career progression, is actively recruiting a qualified accountant to support the Group reporting Manager.
As a technical accountant, you will have the following responsibilities:
- To review, challenge and analyse the year end consolidated and entity only, statutory reporting results, primary statements and corresponding notes
- To review the results and preparation of quarterly investor reporting.
- To deal with audit queries, and ensure the disclosures are accurate, up to date and in accordance with prevailing accounting standards.
- To provide technical guidance and prepare papers regarding the technical accounting treatment for various transactions.
Being a qualified accountant, most likely ACA, you will have excellent technical reporting knowledge. With experience of group reporting and consolidation the role would suit individual who are looking to make a move from practice or currently working in a similar role in Industry.
