Commercial Accountant

Sharp Consultancy are recruiting for a leading FMCG business based in the South Sheffield area. Our client is looking for a Commercial Accountant to join the successful commercial finance team as recent business growth has created the need for a senior within the team.

This role needs a commercially minded person, who is confident in reporting and presenting to the senior team. The role will report into the Head of Commercial Finance.

Responsibilities:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts and producing month end accounts against strict deadlines.
*Ensuring all reported costs are controlled and managed to budget and all revenues are maximised.
*Carrying out Ad hoc project work as required.
*Involvement in the production of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
*In depth analysis to help identify opportunities within the company.
*Perform detailed monthly project reviews, reviewing the companies systems and processes and analysing risks the company may be facing.
*Undertake reporting to a strict deadline.
*Maintaining records & preparing information to be presented to the senior managers.
*Looking at improvement and audit of internal procedures.
