My client is seeking to recruit a commercially astute Financial Controller for their thriving and rapidly expanding Exeter based business. You must have strong management experience gained within a sizable commercial organisation. As a strong Management Accountant, you will be a complete self-starter with excellent leadership and mentoring abilities. More specific duties will include:
- Monthly Management Accounts; monthly flash reports & Management Accounts for shareholders
- Annual Statutory Accounts: Produce annual statutory accounts for the main trading company, the holding company, parent and non-trading subsidiaries.
- Annual Audit: Ensure the annual audit runs smoothly with no issues, through to sign off of the statutory accounts.
- Corporation Tax: Produce the annual tax pack for our tax advisors for a tax provision for the statutory accounts and then subsequently for the annual tax return.
- Head Office: oversee and negotiate maintenance / supplier contracts
