Interim Finance Director

I am working on a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Director to join a PE backed property business.

They are looking for someone to partner with the UK & EMEA Managing Director to develop and execute the businesses vision and growth, which are ambitious.

Key responsibilities include:

• Management and control. You will manage a team of 14 and you will be responsible for ensuring the team, processes and controls develop in line with the fast pace and increasingly global nature of the company.
   
• Budgeting & Forecasting. Translating the agreed business strategy into an ambitious plan that maximises income, grows margin and also manages risks. You will be responsible for identifying areas for profit improve through further growth or cost reductions.
   
• Financial Report and controls.  You will manage a small team of accountants to produce accurate and insightful management information and forecasts allowing them and the rest of the business to track performance trends. You will also be responsible for meeting the management accounting demands from the private equity house.
   
• Commercial. Working with the commercial team the Finance Director will have oversight and input into all commercial terms agreed with clients. You will be a key contributor to major deals which will be large and complex, this role would include you being focused on commercial terms to drive profit margin.

The ideal candidate would have experience in building effective working relationships with all levels of the business. Prior experience in contracting roles are highly desirable as is the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with business.
