A leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of premium molecular diagnostic products are seeking an interim financial planning & reporting analyst to cover a 12 month maternity leave. This position based in Greater Manchester will be reporting to the FP&A manager and be involved in all aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis, across a range of regions within the EMEAC division
This Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst within manufacturing and production requires the successful candidate to be self-motivated, an effective communicator and have a strong awareness of the key values required to work within a small multi-location team.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation and distribution of all reports reporting packages to agreed timetable
- Detailed analysis of revenue performance and growth, including ASP and unit trends o
- Preparation and analysis of P&L reports to agreed timetable
- Detailed analysis of operating expense variances
- Track and analyse key leading indicators and performance metrics
- Support the team with the preparation of business review presentations - PowerPoint slides showing graphs, trends etc.
- Liaise with other functions and departments to drive understanding of business performance
- Ad-hoc reporting, analysis and decision support as needed
- Assist with improvements to Hyperion Planning and Essbase systems and processes
- Other duties as reasonably expected with the position
Key attributes and qualifications:
- Have a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) preferably FP&A department
- A good working knowledge of Oracle and associated applications would be an advantage
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel is essential
- Hyperion and Essbase experience would be an advantage
