Badenoch and Clark are working with a highly respectable organisation in West Sussex to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Regulatory Reporting Accountant. The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the annual SII reporting and identify where SII reporting can be improved.
Reporting in to the Consolidation and Technical Reporting Manager, you will deliver a successful year end SII reporting process. In order to do this you will be the technical expert in Solvency II to interpret regulation whilst ensuring compliance.
Being part of the many projects that are taking place you will also be involved in coordinating the necessary UK GAAP and Solvency II requirements involved in each project.
This role is perfect for someone with a detailed knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102) as well as current and future regulatory requirements within financial services. Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA or equivalent) with extensive post qualified experience. This is a very technical role in accounting and would suit someone who really enjoys getting in to the detail and understanding in depth financial processes.
