Commercial Finance Analyst

Our client, an industry leader with a rapidly expanding global footprint, is looking to source a confident, career-minded Commercial Finance Analyst to join its talented team. This is a very visible role in the business, responsible for a significant revenue stream and supporting a Commercial Finance Manager on a range of activities including analysis, investment, budgeting and forecasting.

You will play a key part in supporting the commercial decision making process, acting as true business partner to the Marketing Team and providing valuable insight to drive strategy forward.

Main duties include:
* Producing monthly performance reports, variance analysis and month end commentary
* Supporting the delivery of annual performance targets
* Supporting Commercial Manager and Marketing Team on innovation profitability both pre and post product launch
* Ensuring the reporting and forecasting of consumer marketing investment is accurate and robust
* Participating in strategic projects involving business modelling and 'what if' scenarios
* Working closely with business partners and responding to ad-hoc queries, providing financial information to drive insight

The successful candidate will be an ACCA/CIMA finalist or newly qualified, with a strong academic record and experience working in a fast-paced, commercial environment. You must have proven analysis skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders outside of Finance. Confidence and credibility is key and you must have examples to date where you've demonstrated strong commercial awareness.
