Financial Accountant

ONGOING INTERIM FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT ROLE - CAMBRIDGE - £35,000- £45,000

Temporary contract available for one of Cambridgeshires leading technology organisations. Experienced, ideally ACCA qualified accountant required to assist with the financial accounts on an ongoing assignment.

In your new role your key responsibilites include;
•Managing audits and filing statutory accounts
•Prepare monthly management and quarterly board reports
•Bank reconciliation's at month-end
•Budget setting and control
•Collaborative R&D project finances; reporting and proposals
•Revenue reconciliation
•Development of systems to maintain accuracy and improve efficiency
•Quarterly commission and annual bonus calculations
•Payroll cover for all UK and non-UK employees
•Project work – Streamlining and implementation of new systems and processes

What you need to succeed;
•Excellent attention to detail and a strong analytical approach to work
•The ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise and manage multiple tasks and people efficiently
•Excellent knowledge of Office (particularly Excel) and Sage 50 accounting software

You will need previous accounting experience, ACCA qualification is desirable, but a working knowledge of financial accounts is essential to succeed. You will also need to be a confident Excel user and a working knowledge of Sage in desirable.
