A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a leading global FMCG organisation based in Surrey.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join a global brand within the FMCG sector. The position itself is one that sits between the Marketing and IT functions of the business offering you a large amount of exposure to business partnering internally. Furthermore, you will have the responsibility of identifying, evaluating and improving current processes within the departments with a financial scope in the attempt to improve efficiency within the business.

To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in the FMCG/retail working sector.
  • Have a strong academic background with a minimum of a 2 in your respected subject.
  • Show good commercial awareness and be up to date with current economic and global affairs.
  • Show the willingness and enthusiasm to identify opportunities for personal progression.
  • Be proactive in your approach to work with the ability to challenge and offer improvement to current processes.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to have a positive influence on colleagues across all levels of the business.

A little more information about the role:

  • You will work closely with the Marketing and IT team within the business to ensure that best practice is carried out in the organisation's strategy.
  • You will provide forecast and analysis insight to the marketing team in their process of product development.
  • You will assess the financial viability of the current marketing strategy and offer alternative solutions to increase business efficiency.
  • You will have exposure to various other projects within the organisation both concerning upstream and downstream divisions of the business.
