Role Summary 

We have some ambitious plans for change and growth over the next 3 years; this integral Divisional FP&A Manger hire will be the backbone to making this happen.

This hire will report in to the Head of Finance and will be responsible for leading the day to day activities within this division, delivering its objectives to providing timely, accurate, and complete business information and decision support in a constructive yet challenging way.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead, coordinate and shape the financial planning and analysis; Group reporting processes and outputs for the Division. Provide reporting against tight group deadlines.
• Provision of business analysis and commentary on results. Producing and reporting against ongoing forecasts for the Divisional leadership team and exec board.
• Lead and coordinate the annual budget process in partnership with the wider business.
• Supporting Strategy team on business strategy development.
• Ad hoc projects to develop finance processes and information.
  Build close links with other group finance teams, particularly service providers in Germany. Developing and sharing best practice across the whole finance function.
• Manage and provide guidance to FP&A team.

Experience 

• Experience in budgeting, planning, analysis with strong Excel modeling skills.  Highly IT literate.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience of helping resolve commercial business challenges.
• Good conceptual understanding of business and finance systems, Access database skills would be an advantage.
• Previous B2C  and/ or ecommerce/ online background would be advantageous

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills at all levels with the ability to influence and gain results
• Highly driven with demonstrable success in a high pressure, tight deadline environment
