A rare and outstanding opportunity has arisen to work for a leading Financial Services company based in the heart of York. They are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team to be responsible for the provision of financial and regulatory reports and statements for a major segment of the group's businesses. Favoured applicants will be coming from a ‘Top 4’ accountancy firm that have worked on a Financial Services client base. Those also demonstrating strong Technical Reporting skills and a broad knowledge of products tailored around the financial services industry will also be looked at favourably.
Duties include:
- Management information reporting and analysis
- Risk identification
- Stakeholder management
- Financial and regulatory reporting
- Group Consolidation
Skills required:
- Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Strong commercial awareness
- IFRS and Solvency II knowledge
- Influential management skills
- Strong work ethic
