Senior Payroll Advisor

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced Senior Payroll Advisor for a Sheffield based organisation organisation. Close to the motorway they are commutable from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster and Chesterfield.

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Payroll Manager duties will include:

Calculating and processing monthly payrolls for area of responsibility
Providing expert advice and guidance to employees on all aspects of PAYE
Deal with all payroll and benefit queries in a timely manner
Reconciling electronic HMRC submissions for area of responsibility
Providing support in the annual pay review and bonus process
To fully test any changes to the system which affect the calculation of payroll
Producing internal reports adhering to deadlines
Keeping up to date with changes in payroll related legislation
Providing administrative support for all Pensions, Group Risk and Salary Sacrifice arrangements
Ensuring that HR and payroll systems accurately reflect eligibility and membership of benefits arrangements
Maintain accurate recording systems
Liaising with benefits providers where appropriate
Supporting, maintaining and staying up to date with the compensation and benefits programmes and policies
Assisting during the benefits renewal process
Other ad hoc duties as required

THE PERSON:

Previous experience is essential
Good communication skills are essential
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
