Interim Finance Analyst

Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for security cleared, interim Finance Analysts. Our client is a high profile central Government department based in London who are looking to bring in 2 Financial Analysts for a period of 12 months with potential for extension. This role supports the organisations expanding IT/technology directorate as it goes through some major transformational changes.

As a Finance Analyst reporting into the Head of Finance and the Director for the IT/Technology unit you will play a key role in aiding the organisation move out of their main supplier agreement, to a hybrid 'in house' and cloud base service. Specifically, you will:

*Analyse large data reports looking out costings/effects and impacts to certain services within It, providing full analysis around these to the department.
*Financial modelling, using established financial models to support the business, gathering information and challenging business assumptions to the IT transformation project
*Working as part of the wider IT & work streams, you will business partner with IT/technology directorate, Professional services, corporate teams and all aspects of central finance to gather and interpret whatever data they need.
*Provide Analytical support to other projects and areas within the organisation when needed

This position requires SC clearance or higher. Those with this level of clearance will be favourable.

The successful candidate will have a strong Data Analysis/Financial Analysis background that can cope with large data sources, interpret these and communicate this in a warm approachable but often challenging manor. You will ideally have gained this previous experience in the Government Sector or worked within an IT environment, however other backgrounds will be considered. You must have a strong financial background with a CCAB qualification desirable however we will consider all candidates with relevant experience.
