OPERATIONS MANAGER

A qualified accountant with fluent french is required for an exciting management role within a busy finance department. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and will manage the operations of the FBS division and the production staff for the accounting and payroll activities for clients. This candidate will manage a team of 5 and have experience dealing with clients both in the UK and internationally.

Main Activities will include

- supervise and organise the process of all accounting information received by clients on the system
-maintain controls and schedules to ensure work is carried out to the required standards
-keep up to date with tax legislation and accounting procedures
-provide clients with accounts/management reports as and when required
-regularly undertake audits , involving the examination of client accounts ,analysing risk,inspecting the organisations current practices, investigating any financial irregularities and recommending improvements
-dealing with, and advising on tax issues, ensuring compliance with tax legislation
-advising clients on areas of business improvement
-expand the range of financial services provided to clients


Ideally from a practice background, with experience of sage line 50 as desirable but not essential.
