A market leading financial services organisation is currently looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Operations Process Analyst. Working within their impressive offices based in Liverpool City Centre, the successful applicant will act as a senior member of the operational team and will be responsible for identifying and driving improvements across the business. Reporting to the Operations Control & Oversight Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring that an appropriate control framework is in place, internal service levels and timeframes are met and processes are implemented to reduce errors, risk and complaints.

The Operations Process Analyst responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining effective systems, processes and procedures to ensure service standards are met and maintained
  • Conducting root cause analysis, corrective action analysis and reporting on operational errors and risk events
  • Conducting casework quality assurance reviews
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to improve quality, efficiency and client service and mitigate risk
  • Acting as an escalation point of contact for complex queries and technical questions
  • Delivering coaching and training on products, services, systems and procedures
  • Conducting quality assurance reviews on 3rd party vendor service levels including systems, processes and outputs to ensure business requirements are being met
  • Producing quality business requirements documentation as necessary, gaining agreement and sign-off from key stakeholders as required
  • Production and quality assurance of regulatory reporting
  • Production of management information
  • Keeping up to date on changing financial regulation pertaining to, for example, ISAs, pensions and taxation
  • Assisting with User Acceptance Testing, ensuring that change management controls are followed correctly

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess strong analytical and numerical skills and have previous experience of working within financial services, particularly within an operations environment. It is essential that applicants are CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) qualified or equivalent and have knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to investments.
