At PepsiCo, our Finance Business Partners are at the heart of driving our business forward & ensuring we're set-up for future success. Partnering closely with assigned counterparts in our Sales team, you will have a direct impact on influencing commercial strategy, providing expert advice regarding investment opportunities and highlighting performance concerns.

Our Business Partners are at the front line of decision making and build extensive networks and understanding within the business. This allows for a wide progression scope either within Finance or other commercially focused teams.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Lead collaborative financial and analytical leadership to assigned sales account teams and deliver the annual net revenue, profit, and share plans.
  • Partner with account teams to build their annual net revenue plans, and where appropriate assess Joint Business Plans with key customers, including post deal evaluation, customer & category performance, and lessons for future activity.
  • Highlight future performance concerns and opportunities and takes a lead in evaluating investments.
  • Continuously challenge and optimise trade spend.
  • Oversee period close process and provide understanding and insight into performance, including PY accruals.
  • Provide coaching to members of the Finance Service Delivery Team and Sales.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (eg. ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Experience in an FMCG or Retail / Consumer-led environment
  • Strong track record of development and desire to keep stretch own abilities.
  • Good commercial judgement and excellent investment appraisal skills
  • Intellectually strong - a good strategic thinker
  • Excellent analytical/numerical skills - including strong attention to detail and Excel skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills - with ability to recommend clear decisions
  • The ability to liaise confidently and assertively with all levels within the company
  • Ability to prioritise or push-back/trade-off where resources are insufficient
  • Independent and self-sufficient, with the ability to cope effectively under pressure and influence
  • Sound project management skills
