About Our Client

The Royal Albert Hall is the world's most famous stage with an unrivalled history of performance. An iconic building with a global reputation and profile, the Hall hosts around 400 performances annually in the main auditorium and over 1,000 other events inside and outside the building, receiving over 1.7 million visitors a year. The Hall continues to broaden its appeal to new audiences through its diverse and vibrant programme, whilst remaining financially and commercially strong with a full events calendar, a thriving education and outreach programme, a growing global digital presence and ambitious capital development plans that will provide the very best possible experience for artists and audiences well into the future.

This is an exciting time to be joining the Hall. In 2017 we embarked upon a new five year business plan in the run up to our 150th Anniversary in 2021. At the heart of this are plans to extend the Hall's reach beyond the building itself - providing unforgettable experiences to a greater number of people than ever before. We have also initiated a £multi-million modernisation programme to enhance the much loved Grade I listed building, improving artists' facilities and carving out public space for education, outreach and archives.

The Hall is a registered charity which receives no on-going government funding so day-to-day income is generated by our commercial success and philanthropic support. Strong financial planning and governance ensures that we can reinvest into helping us meet our charitable objectives to promote the arts and sciences and fulfil our drive to maintain and improve this wonderful venue.
