Job Description
Responsible to analyse and provide financial data for planning cycles (budget and forecasts) and corporate reporting
Responsible to analyse company performance, identifying and tracking key indicators
Responsible to generate analytical reports comparing current performance versus planned, recommending actions to get to planned performance
Responsible to ensure reliable planned and current performance data
Responsible for closing management reports preparation and analysis, monthly, quarterly and annual, together with accounting team
Responsible for Contribution Margin preparation and analysis, as well as profitability analysis per customer and product sold
Responsible for the preparation of financial sales pricing studies for products and/or projects
Responsible to manage and analyse Working Capital components
Business partner for the local Managing Director
The Successful Applicant
You will be a qualified Accountant with good knowledge of local accounting principles and IFRS, with at least 5 years PQE. You will have a collaborative and proactive attitude and be comfortable working with senior stakeholders in different regions. You will have strong reporting skills and proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and balance multiple objectives. You will also have excellent technical knowledge of developments in financial reporting, as well as strong financial systems skills and ideally experience of ERP systems. It would be desirable that you have international exposure within a larger SME or matrix structure organisation.
Above all, you will be an experienced and 'hands on' FC that can demonstrate an eye for detail and be deadline orientated. With the ability to business partner the local MD, you will be actively seeking a visible role in a changing business in which to further your career. Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills are essential as is the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels.
