Job Description

My client is looking for a problem solver in their European Business Analyst, based in the Birmingham office, reporting to the Finance Director. As European Business Analyst you are expected to play an important role in Business Partnering with senior stakeholders, Financial Planning & Analysis and System / Process Improvement. The key responsibilities of the European Business Analyst within an environment of high data volume will be to undertake:

  • Budgeting and monthly forecasting;
  • Financial modelling and reporting;
  • Systems implementations, process re-engineering and automation;
  • Development of financial analysis and reports in Excel and SQL based software;
  • Supporting business decision making processes.

Finally you will play a pivotal role within the organisation in providing solutions to facilitate desired outcomes quickly in this changing and dynamic industry.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the European Business Analyst role will be able to pick things up quickly and manage multiple tasks at any one time. They will also have the following attributes:

  • Qualified Accountant;
  • Track record of working with large data;
  • Strong systems knowledge including advanced Excel and SQL;
  • Goal orientated;
  • Proactive.
