A large advertising business located in Central London is currently in search of an Accounts Assistant to start ASAP for an initial period of three months.
You will be responsible for:
- processing payables invoices on a weekly basis, raising PO numbers where necessary and assisting with payment runs;
- managing the supplier database and entering new supplier details, making sure the information is accurate and up to date;
- managing the payables inbox and responding to queries, ensuring that all queries are responded to promptly and efficiently;
- preparing weekly bank reconciliations of GBP accounts;
- assisting the Management Accountant with month end journals, preparing accruals and prepayments;
- other ad hoc tasks may also be required.
A background in accounts payable and/or finance is essential. Ideally, you will be able to interview and to start immediately. An interest in advertising or creative industries would certainly be considered favourable.
