The Job
This is a career role with many opportunities. You will play an integral part in the team and be reporting to line management whom are happy for you to make suggestions/improvement ideas. YOU can play a key part in its growth strategy. This is a 'hands on' varied role involving Management and Financial Reporting as well as Project work
The main duties of the role will be supporting the day to day management of the Finance Department. The role will report to the site general Manager with dotted line reporting to the group FD.
Financial & Management Accounting
Role will be to manage the day to day function of the ledgers ensuring that best practice is maintained
Review and update all processes and procedures as required to ensure that the department runs in an efficient manner.
Set and review relevant KPI's to effectively measure the departmental efficiency.
Forecasting
Commercial Projects/Analysis
General Accounting
Preparation of monthly cashflow
Co-ordinate the preparation of annual budget
Manage the month-end and Year end process
Set in place cash collection targets and hold monthly credit control reviews
Ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.
Maintain fixed asset register
Responsible for the regulatory compliance e. VAT returns

The ideal candidate will be someone who is honest, loyal, flexible, hands on and ambitious with a strong personality. It is an ideal opportunity for someone with Manufacturing Sector experience, whom has experience and motivation to get deeply involved in measuring and improving the cost of the company's products
You will also have:-
* Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
* Experience of working in fast-paced business culture (within tight deadlines)
* The ability to work under pressure
* Experience of interacting with and supporting operational teams
Salary Range & Benefits
Up to £45,000 plus benefits
