Our client is looking to recruit a qualified accountant to join a growing, acquisitive group.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director the remit will include: preparation of the monthly management accounts and reporting pack; ongoing development of internal controls and procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to group; supervision and development of one assistant; involvement in the annual budget and forecasting process; assist with ad hoc project work; preparation of the annual financial statements; working with the group tax team on the tax pack and liaison with the external auditors throughout the annual audit process.
The ideal candidate must be qualified with up to date technical skills. You should be a confident communicator with the ability to communicate complex financial matters to both internal and external stakeholders. This Financial Accountant role would suit a self-motivated, proactive individual seeking an opportunity to progress an in-house career within a dynamic organisation.
