Financial Controller

Our client, an established investor-backed Tech company based in London which has developed an innovative product, offers an immediate opportunity for a commercially minded financial controller.  It is a modern diverse company with an open management structure.

The opportunity: Having recently completed a major investment round, the business is now set for its next stage of growth.  Reporting to the commercial director and supported by an assistant, the financial controller will play a pivotal role.   Your goal will be to create an effective financial control and reporting function to keep the business on track. This will include looking after all aspects of finance including defining, setting up and maintaining budgets and forecasts, management accounts, KPIs and dashboards for the executive team to run and control the business.

To be considered, for this exciting financial controller role, you must be capable of taking responsibility for the company’s day-to-day financial operations, compliance and reporting and cash flow management.   You will be qualified accountant and financial controller with at least 5 year experience; ideally, including revenue recognition, budgeting and modelling, costing and pricing, and segmented reporting. Experience of Tech, SaaS / software revenue models would be beneficial. You will be self-motivated, pro-active, and capable of working within a fast moving and demanding environment.

This financial controller role offers an excellent remuneration package which will include a bonus and share options and potential to grow into an FD/CFO role.
