Axon Moore are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join a successful global manufacturing organisation in North East Manchester. With a salary of £30,000 you will require excellent communication and analytical skills as well having a continuous improvement outlook and being motivated to work on their own initiative.
Duties:
• Preparing and analysing operational results; working closely with the manufacturing & supply chain teams
• Leading the product costing reviews from budget manufacturing and procurement processes to individual
• Supporting the sales team in pricing decisions e.g. identifying variable cost
• Providing financial support to the engineering, supply chain and operations teams in value analysis / value engineering reviews
• Support working capital improvement initiatives
• Month end and forecast responsibilities as assigned
• Ensure compliance with Group policies
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Person Specification:
• Qualified by experience or Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
• ERP experience, preferably SAP
• Intermediate to advanced excel – pivot tables, v look ups
• Experienced Management Accountant, ideally from a Manufacturing background
• Strong reporting and communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ideally experience working in a manufacturing environment
