Pure are currently working exclusively with one of Cambridge's top employers to recruit a commercially astute Finance Business Analyst for a 12 month contract. This is a newly created position within the FP&A Team is to provide in depth commercial analytical data to the wider business to improve decision making processes and drive profitability. The main areas covered by this role will include:
• Develop commercial analytics for use across the wider business.
• Act as the main point of contact for all queries from commercial teams, finance and operations
• Provide strategic advice to senior management and directors including in-depth analysis on new ventures, profitability, ROI and viability
• Establishing, monitoring and evaluating KPI's
• Other adhoc analysis and insight on business critical functions
For you to be successful in this position you will be required to have the following skills and attributes:
• Strong knowledge of accountancy and finance, being a qualified accountant would be beneficial but not essential
• Experience of working within large, complex organisations would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills will be essential as you will be dealing with senior stakeholders across the business
• Background in data manipulation and interpretation
• Proactive, self-starter who is willing to find the answers to business critical questions
