Our client is a government department responsible for the registration of land and property in England and Wales. They are a successful, high performing, innovative organisation. They are currently digitising and extending the range of services they provide, as they aim to become the world’s leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data. 

Position: Senior Internal Auditor 
Location: Croydon, Plymouth, Telford 
Contract type: Permanent (Flexible working, Full-time) 
Hours: 37 Hours (36 hours Croydon) 
Salary: £34,313 (£37,466 Croydon) 

Closing Date: 4 March 2018 
Interview date: week commencing 19 March in Croydon 

About the Role: 

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you’ll need to develop strong working relationships with directors and senior managers to understand complex business processes and transformation activity in a rapidly changing risk environment. You’ll lead on specific internal audit assignments from end to end, articulating findings and making reasoned, proportionate recommendations for improvement. There’s also the opportunity to apply your professional knowledge and expertise in an advisory capacity to support ongoing change and business-as-usual activity. 

About You: 

Ideally you will be a qualified internal auditor or accountant, with recent experience of auditing transformation/change activity in a forward-thinking, innovative environment. It would be a distinct advantage if you also hold a relevant IT audit qualification or project/programme management qualification. You’ll need to be a strong communicator and team player, be naturally curious, with good attention to detail, and have a balanced approach to risk management. We will support you in maintaining the continuing professional education requirements of your professional body.
