Senior Auditor

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident Internal Auditor to take on a senior role in a fast-paced, well-known retail business. They will provide a value-added independent Internal Audit service that provides assurance to the business that policies, processes and systems are operating effectively and efficiently and are supporting a robust and strong control environment.

Specific job responsiblities include:-

- lead audit assignments either independently or as part of a wider team

- perform internal audit reviews in accordance with best practice (IIA/ISACA)

- produce reports with respect to findings, recommendations and opinions

- accurately and efficiently acquit or back-up internal check activities

- appraise the Internal Audit Manager of progress against specific reviews and overall plan

- provide feedback to junior staff, particularly regarding quality of work

- participate in ad-hoc work streams and projects

- provide guidance, advice and support to the Audit Team as a professional expert
