Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner. Our London based client are a well-established government organisation, who are actively recruiting for a Senior Finance Business Partner on 2-year fixed term contract.
The successful applicant will be joining the organisation during an exciting period of change which the Senior Finance Business Partner will be playing pivotal role within the change management which you will be supporting the Head of Finance Business Partnering to fortify successful implementation and you will be able to ensure that the relevant changes are made to the business partnering function. This change is happening not only within the finance team but also across the wider organisation to improve communications.
Specific responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner include:
*Finance Business Partner to a range of stake holders, building effective relationships to provide support and advice that is constructive to ensure effective operation of financial and budgetary control.
*Lead the finance element of business planning and budgeting, cost analysis and in-year forecasting.
*Support the planning and budgeting process that is fully coherent including; cost drivers, performance and risk.
*Ensure the production of management accounts including prepayments, accruals, reconciliations and journals produced in a timely manner.
*Line management of 3 accountants, so previous experience of line management would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will be a CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant and have a proven track record in Finance Business Partnering to hit the ground running. You must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels and be able to provide expert advice on all financial matters. You must be willing to learn and get stuck in. Candidates with experience of working in Government sector is highly advantageous but not essential.
This role requires basis security clearance, those without this must be willing to undergo this vetting process.
