Credit Controller

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a large finance function in Trafford Park for a continuously growing organisation. 

You will be responsible for maintaining effective working relationships with some of the organisation’s key partners. You will provide a comprehensive service through the implementation of best practice and bespoke processes to deliver debt control.

ROLE 

• Adhering to credit control and accountancy policies 
• Ensuring customers pay within agreed terms 
• Chasing outstanding payments where necessary in line with policy 
• Reviewing and increasing credit limits 
• Resolving customer accounts queries 
• Ensuring debt chasing letters are sent out in a timely manner 
• Continuously reviewing credit control procedures 


SKILLS 

• Experience within Credit Control 
• Solid functional experience within accounts receivable 
• Experience working to and exceeding KPIs 
• Fantastic communication skills 
• Be able to prioritise tasks 
• The ability to work as part of a team 
• Intermediate Excel skills 
• Experience using JDE is desirable
