We’re looking for a self-motivated and sharp minded individual to…

  • Provide financial support and analysis to our Research and Innovation department, acting as the main point of contact to Senior Managers.
  • Assist in the completion of timely and accurate budgets, forecasts and management information
  • Monitor income & expenditure and provide insightful variance analysis on a monthly basis
  • Take responsibility for month end reporting tasks, including producing monthly management accounts and cash flow forecasting
  • Identify, contribute and, where appropriate, lead on projects to develop new ideas and improvements in financial processes
  • Design and maintain robust planning and reporting models, appropriately integrating accounting and cash flow views

 

Our analyst teams provide financial information, insightful analysis and ongoing support to senior management and leadership across the charity, enabling them to review their financial performance and evaluate key decisions. We’re currently looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join the Research & Innovation Finance Team. We need an experienced professional who can provide high quality and comprehensive reporting, advice and business acumen to help us reach our strategic objectives.

  • Excellent Excel skills and good experience of databases, spreadsheets and report writing
  • Good knowledge and experience with complex strategic/financial planning analysis tools and models
  • Excellent Excel skills and good experience of databases, spreadsheets and report writing
  • A strong understanding of budgetary processes and financial controls
  • Experience of managing budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting within a large, complex organisation
  • Experience of successfully building, managing and developing business partnering relationships
