Your new company
This property investment and development has a broad portfolio of assets across the South East of England which span commercial office space, residential property and agricultural land. With these assets holding value they also generate steady revenues from rental income which gets reinvested back into the business; and the small family office style operation allows a collaborative approach to steady acquisitive growth.

Your new role
Your Finance Director role will report into the MD of the business and take a lead on all financial reporting for the Company's activities; and importantly take a lead on all investor facing activity. The businesses finances are currently managed by a team of 3, and it is important you maintain bank and auditing relationships. The value add from you will come through appraising potential new investments and developments, analysing the performance of existing assets, and maximising the value of loan financing.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant and have a strong academic background. Confidence with financial data and professional interpersonal skills will come naturally to you to deal with a range of senior professional stakeholders in and out of the office. Importantly you will have a sound knowledge of property development and investment markets and projects, and be able to converse and articulate ideas with non-finance professionals in the property field.
