Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for a Director of Finance and Resources for a prestigious government funded training provider based in South London. This is the perfect opportunity for someone to make sustained positive change in a growing organisation.
As the Director of Finance & Resources you will be supporting the Chief Executive, this is very much a hands-on role that is responsible for Finance, IT and HR. Day to day you will operate at both a strategic and detailed level, providing strong financial advice to the Chief Executive and Leadership team including, investment appraisals, making policy and process improvements and financial planning. Leading a team of four direct reports it will enable you to drive improvements to process throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate will be a CCAB (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) qualified accountant with a proven track record of leading small teams across Finance, HR and IT. Experience within an organisation who are funded by the government will be hugely advantageous as would individuals who have worked within education/charity/training environments. Due to the size of the team you must be able to get stuck in and effectively hit the ground running.
