Financial Accountant

Your new company
Hays Senior Finance is currently working with a leading business in the service sector that has an immediate requirement for a Financial Accountant to join the business for 12 months to cover maternity leave.

Your new role
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing the group financial reporting pack and managing the month end close. You'll assist with budgeting and forecasting as well as managing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and preparing schedules for the half year and annual audit. You'll drive improvements in the reporting process and work with stakeholders across the business on finance related analysis and projects.


What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), although part qualified accountants and individuals qualified by their experience will also be considered. You'll have excellent communication and organisational skills a strong work ethic.
