With UK turnover of over £200m, and the company steadily expanding, this is an excellent career opportunity for a Qualified Commercial Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner to join the finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of MA, your remit will include:
Applicants will be fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA - and preferably graduates - with prior experience of operating as a Management Accountant in a large scale, complex and fast paced business. You will have a strong commercial acumen, will be experienced in producing budgets, forecasts, multiple management accounts and will have the persona & gravitas to forge strong business partner relationships with a broad audience. Prior experience of Infor Sun Systems and/or the SAP BPC (SAP Business Objects Planning and Consolidation) software would be of particular interest as would prior financial services sector experience - although this is not essential. - Monthly Management Accounts preparation
- P&L Analysis and reporting by business area (150+ P&Ls)
- Business Partnering with Senior Operations Managers and teams
- Income forecasting
- Financial Modelling
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Use of Sun Accounts & SAP BPC
- Taking the lead on continuous improvement projects and initiatives
- Working to reduce the monthly management accounts timetable
- Modernising and developing MI & KPI reporting suites
- Restructuring the chart of accounts
- Development of efficient controls & processes
