Operating as the No 2 in Finance for this autonomous UK division - based in impressive offices in Liverpool city centre - this role has been created through a combination of company expansion and an internal promotion and reports to an impressive ACMA CGMA FC who is committed to taking your development to the next level.
In this all-encompassing role Management & Finance Business Partnering role you will be based in a small, friendly, supportive, finance team of 4 with a remit including:

  • Management Accounting & Month-end reporting in SAP
  • Variance Analysis with commentary
  • Cost centre reporting
  • Supporting the FC with presenting numbers to the senior management team and departmental heads
  • Cross function Business Partnering with Sales & Operations team - presenting financial & operational KPIS and results and supporting their strategic decision making
  • Providing budget holders with support & direction, challenging numbers & budget overspends/variances as necessary
  • Analysis of business operations by Project/Contract including Sales & Margin reporting
  • Quarterly and Yearly Planning & forecasting
  • Supporting the FC with value adding business projects and initiatives

Applicants will ideally be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA Management Accountants or later stage active studier Management Accounts/Finance Business Partners with experience spanning most of the duties specified above. You will have excellent analytical skills & problem-solving skills; Good communication & interpersonal skills; A good attention to detail; the ability to work under pressure and will be self-motivated with the drive to succeed. You will also have a high level of IT proficiency and will be a real team player with the gravitas, personality & style of approach required to successfully engage with and influence all levels including senior management.
